Power supply DC to the robot and the minimum system power

As the title that has been made this evening I will discuss about the power supply used for line follower robot like, maybe you already know that for the type of AVR micro controller supplied with tengangan only able to get in at 5 volts. But the robot pick many electronic components that vary the amount of voltage even more than 5 volts, therefore, needs a consistent power supply voltage of 5 volts issuing DC voltage masukanya although varying between 5 and 12 volts DC.

The following schematic DC-input power supply 5 to 12 volt and 5 volt DC output remains.
